Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Certified Teacher in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a safe, sustainable classroom. You will help maintain an organized space, build positive relationships with children and families, and contribute to sustainability initiatives daily.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and alignment with our Sustainable Education® approach in a year-round program at our Woburn site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow sustainable routines.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Greet families and participate in sustainable communication practices.
• Attend required trainings and collaborate with the team on curriculum and sustainability initiatives.
