Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking a proactive Teacher to contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment for children aged 0-5. You will support the Teacher Associate in implementing meaningful experiences, sustain an eco‑minded classroom, and foster respectful relationships with families and colleagues.

The role emphasizes Sustainable Education®, teamwork, and ongoing educator growth, with year‑round, Monday–Friday hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes.
• EEC certification or requirements completed to be submitted for review (for roles requiring EEC Certification).
• Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.
• Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans and learning experiences aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles.
• Lead classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility, mindful material use, and stewardship habits.
• Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high‑quality instructional delivery.
• Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent communication and engagement.

Education

High school diploma or GED

EEC teacher certification (or requirements completed)
