Job summary

Arup is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to contribute to the design of roads, drainage and utility systems using Civil 3D. You will analyze stormwater and water systems with HydraFlow and EPANET while researching standards and coordinating across disciplines to deliver sustainable outcomes.

The role supports report writing, calculations and specifications, and requires pursuing a civil engineering degree with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering or a relevant engineering degree.
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and CAD software.
• Experience with CAD software and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Use Civil 3D to layout roads, drainage, utilities, site grading and earthwork designs.
• Apply HydraFlow and EPANET to analyze and design water systems and flood protection.
• Research codes and standards and coordinate with disciplines for sustainable outcomes.
• Support development of reports, calculations and specifications.
