Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an Energy Analyst in Portland, OR. The role focuses on developing energy models and analyzing building performance to advance energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce energy use. A hybrid work environment with two in-office days is offered in Portland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable building design, and decarbonized energy systems.
• Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze building energy models for new construction and existing buildings.
• Analyze utility usage and building data to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Evaluate MEP systems to support energy efficiency and decarbonization goals.
• Support energy audits, retro‑commissioning, and building optimization services.
• Support net‑zero energy and carbon neutrality planning efforts.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
