Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking an Electrical Intern in Atlanta for Summer 2027 to contribute to energy-efficient building projects and sustainable engineering solutions. You will work with experienced engineers, learn industry-leading practices, and support design development, analysis, and documentation.

The role focuses on collaboration, creativity, and applying BIM and electrical design tools to real-world projects in a multidisciplinary environment, with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
Familiarity with BIM modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD).
Interest in electrical power systems and building services design.
Academic or internship exposure to engineering design and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Using Revit, prepare technical drawings, schedules, and reports.
Analyze load to determine system sizing, and assign circuitry for power and lighting devices.
Undertake electrical engineering building services design and calculations (Design Master; SKM).
Embrace latest technologies to improve performance and sustainability.
