Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its MEP team for sustainable building projects in a fully integrated AEC firm. You will work with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop high-quality electrical systems across schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

The role requires a PE license for the Engineer title (Designer is possible for non-PE candidates) with 4–8 years of experience, a BA/BS in Electrical Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 4–8 years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required for Engineer title; Designer designation possible for non-PE candidates.
• Experience with electrical design documentation, BIM models, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Involved throughout full project lifecycle from schematic design to post-occupancy.
• Develop building electrical systems and perform design analyses.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory documentation with local authorities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, sustainability professionals, and construction teams.
