Job summary

Timac Agro in Gainesville, Florida seeks a field sales consultant to build trusted relationships with growers and become their go-to advisor. You will learn and teach Timac technologies to boost profitability and sustainable practices.

In this role you will travel across the assigned territory, conduct field demonstrations, collect data, and develop strategies to expand product adoption while maintaining a strong focus on reliability and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Sales experience or motivation to learn.
• Vision and drive to develop a strategic plan and execute.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships based on reliability and trust.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with growers and become their trusted advisor.
• Teach growers and retailers about Timac products and how our technologies can help them become more profitable and sustainable.
• Actively listen and understand customer concerns, needs and preferences.
• Travel within your assigned territory meeting prospective and current customers and introduce our products.
• Set up field demonstrations and Collect Data from them to generate future sales.
• Represent Timac at growers’ meetings and industry events.
• Develop your sales strategy to introduce our products to customers within your assigned area.
