Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a SHES-focused environmental professional in Maryland to support tender submissions, site inspections, and sustainability reporting. You will ensure compliance with environmental safeguards and collaborate with engineers, designers, and contractors to drive best practices across projects.

Your role includes delivering SHES training, tracking energy, water and material usage, and reporting carbon emissions and LEED/BREEAM goals to support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Help tender submissions and project plans incorporate green innovations and environmental safeguards.
• Conduct site inspections, track waste/resource use (energy, water & materials), and ensure adherence to legal frameworks.
• Collate and report sustainability metrics (such as carbon emissions, and BREEAM/LEED goals).
• Investigate environmental incidents on site and share lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Work with engineers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to drive best practices.
• Deliver environmental awareness and safety-health-environment-sustainability (SHES) training to site teams.
