Job summary

Larimer County is seeking a Resource Recovery Program Manager to lead sustainability and resource recovery initiatives in the Solid Waste Department. You will coordinate programs, manage grant-funded efforts, and build partnerships with public and private partners to advance long-term goals.

You’ll work closely with leadership to design and implement initiatives identified in the SWIMP, measure progress, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, in a related field.
• Three (3) years program related experience such as program management, contract management, or development.
• Reliable transportation to work in any County facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advance diversion and resource recovery initiatives across sustainability programs.
• Coordinate internal and external teams and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Serve as County representative for resource recovery and waste diversion development.
• Identify, pursue, and monitor grants supporting sustainability initiatives.
• Present information to community, partners, and elected officials.
• Develop metrics to measure program success and diversion projects.
• Provide oversight of the resource recovery program.
