Job summary

HDR is seeking a Sustainability & Resilience Project Manager to support the Transportation Business Group. The role focuses on climate risk and infrastructure resilience, decarbonization strategies, and greenhouse gas planning to strengthen communities and transportation networks.

The position requires leading project teams, coordinating across disciplines, and managing schedules and budgets while engaging with clients and stakeholders in Minnesota and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7 years related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contracts, design and production related to climate risk and infrastructure risk management, funding strategy and implementation, transportation decarbonization, climate action plans and greenhouse gas planning.
• Plan and manage all aspects of projects focusing on sustainability and resiliency across business groups.
• Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance project teams throughout the entire project's development.
• Manage workload and financial aspects of projects. Coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule and budget.
• Work with accounting, project coordinators, business group, cross sector and area management for project reviews and with company management.
• Perform other duties as needed
