Job summary

HDR is seeking a Strategic Communications Team Lead in Minnesota to manage a dynamic team of Project Managers and oversee community engagement for infrastructure projects. You will supervise staffing, review performance, and coordinate with leadership to align project work with client goals.

Responsibilities include supporting business development—proposals, budgets, and client conversations—and occasionally performing hands-on project management while driving staff development and knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience.
Professional registration, license or certification may be required.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments.
Good leadership and organizational skills.
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

Supervise a Minnesota Strategic Communications PM team, with timecards and utilization goals.
Provide day-to-day staff management, quality review, and project support.
Coordinate with team leadership and cross-functional teams to support projects.
Support business development including proposals, scope and budget development.
Function as a Strategic Communications Project Manager when needed.
