Job summary

Wesco in Texas is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead our corporate sustainability programs, drive GHG data collection, and support reporting. You will partner with Operations, Sales, and Category Management to implement energy and resource-saving initiatives.

You will develop and manage data dashboards, educate teams, and influence leaders on climate and social responsibility strategies, including Scope 3 inventories and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in environmental sustainability, economics, or related field.
• Certifications in GRI, ESG, or CDP preferred.
• 4 years of corporate sustainability program experience.
• 2+ years SASB and TCFD reporting experience.
• 2+ years with Microsoft Forms, Power BI, and Power Automate; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance as a subject matter expert for key sustainability programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive favorable outcomes.
• Manages data collection for greenhouse gas inventory and ensures data accuracy.
• Reports to rating/rankings and 3rd party platforms in partnership with internal functions.
• Develops and contributes to annual sustainability reporting.
• Develops data management plans for sustainability metrics and reporting.
• Leads green and sustainable product catalog development.
• Develops and delivers sustainability training programs for different audiences.
• Researches investment opportunities for climate, water, biodiversity, and provides leadership with recommendations.
• Leads employee sustainability group; collaborates on reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Implements and maintains reporting to communicate progress toward goals.
