Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Sustainability Manager to spearhead key programs within the company’s sustainability initiative, driving greenhouse gas reductions and resource conservation. You will lead data collection, analysis, and reporting for GHG inventories including Scope 3, and work with cross‑functional teams to meet evolving reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Environmental Sustainability, Economics, or related field.
• Certifications in GRI, ESG, and/or CDP preferred.
• At least 4 years of corporate sustainability program experience.
• 2+ years SASB and TCFD reporting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Forms, Power BI, Power Automate; Excel/Office suite.
• Familiar with ISSB and CSRD frameworks.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance as a subject matter expert for sustainability programs across multiple functions and teams.
• Manages collection of data for GHG inventory ensuring relevant and accurate data is collected.
• Reports to rating platforms in partnership with internal functions.
• Participates in development of annual sustainability reporting.
• Manages and quality controls Data Management Plans for metrics.
• Leads development of green and sustainable product catalog.
• Develops and implements sustainability training programs for different audiences.
• Researches investment opportunities for climate, water, biodiversity initiatives; provides recommendations to leadership.
• Leads development and management of an organizational employee sustainability group.
• Creates dashboards and scorecards to communicate progress towards goals.
