Job summary

Watts Water Technologies seeks a strategic Product Sustainability Manager to drive our sustainability program across product lines in a remote US-based role. You will lead LCA initiatives, develop metrics, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing to embed sustainability in product development and business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Product Development, Chemistry, Material Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product sustainability, sustainability engineering, environmental management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of climate science, circular economy, regenerative design, and environmental practices.
• Experience conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and using related tools.
• Experience developing and implementing sustainability programs, metrics and reporting methodologies.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate sustainability concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sustainability reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product sustainability program evaluating environmental impact.
• Lead Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) initiatives across product lines.
• Develop sustainability models, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Manage sustainability data inventories and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate sustainability in development.
• Establish and monitor product sustainability goals and performance measures.
• Support annual sustainability reporting and disclosures.
• Communicate initiatives and outcomes to stakeholders.
