Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to lead our company's sustainability initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive activities that support our sustainability goals and objectives. The Sustainability Program Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sustainability program, including the collection and reporting of sustainability performance measures. Additionally, this role will engage with our business units to facilitate actions that ensure the company meets its sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with the company's corporate objectives.
  2. Lead engagement actions to ensure progress on the company's sustainability goals, including working with our business units to support completion of sustainability projects.
  3. Develop strategies and processes to comply with relevant environmental disclosure regulations (e.g., CSRD, CSDDD).
  4. Monitor, analyze, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of environmental metrics.
  5. Support external stakeholder sustainability information requests and complete annual sustainability data submissions (e.g., CDP, ISS, Sustainalytics).
  6. Assist in the development of the annual Corporate Responsibility Report.
  7. Create sustainability communications and training to foster a culture of sustainability among employees and partners.
  8. Facilitate on-site sustainability engagement events such as energy and waste kaizens.
  9. Represent the company in industry-wide sustainability associations.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of reporting protocols and international ESG frameworks.
  • Understanding of greenhouse gas emissions and ESG reporting regulations.
  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing renewable energy solutions.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency opportunities in manufacturing environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
