Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to lead our company's sustainability initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive activities that support our sustainability goals and objectives. The Sustainability Program Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sustainability program, including the collection and reporting of sustainability performance measures. Additionally, this role will engage with our business units to facilitate actions that ensure the company meets its sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with the company's corporate objectives.

  • Lead engagement actions to ensure progress on the companies sustainability goals, including working with our business units to support completion of sustainability projects

  • Develop strategies and processes to comply with existing and emerging relevant environmental disclosure regulations (i.e., CSRD, CSDDD).

  • Monitor, analyze and ensure accurate and timely reporting of environmental metrics.

  • Support external stakeholder sustainability information requests and complete annual sustainability data submittals (i.e., CDP, ISS, Sustainalytics etc.).

  • Support annual Corporate Responsibility Report development.

  • Develop sustainability communications and training which foster a culture of sustainability among employees and partners.

  • Facilitate on-site sustainability engagement events such as energy and waste kaizens.

  • Represent the company in relevant industry-wide sustainability associations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in sustainability or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong data analytics skills.

  • Knowledge of reporting protocols and international ESG frameworks.

  • Knowledge of relevant greenhouse gas and related ESG reporting regulations.

  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen and other continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience evaluating and implementing renewable energy opportunities.

  • Understanding of energy efficiency opportunities in the manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
