Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Manager, Sustainability Program and Stakeholder Engagement to advance sustainability initiatives across the enterprise. This role coordinates cross-functional programs, translates strategy into action, and delivers executive-ready materials.

Based in the Houston area (hybrid on-site with business needs; remote allowed outside Houston), you will lead weekly check-ins, manage stakeholders, and develop compelling presentations with PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Degree in Sustainability preferred.
4–6 years of experience in project management, transformation, strategy, communications, or sustainability.
Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong writer and slide-builder.
Tech-savvy with Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and project-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships across key stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment, communication, and coordinated action on sustainability priorities.
Drive delivery through structured weekly check-ins with workstream leads, surfacing risks, removing barriers, and escalating where needed.
Maintain clear visibility of program progress and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on objectives and priorities.
Represent Sysco's sustainability efforts externally, fostering partnerships and aligning stakeholders to advance sustainability priorities across the food system.
Advance sustainability initiatives by aligning stakeholders around shared priorities and driving collaboration across the value chain.
