Job summary

WM is seeking a Growth Manager for WM Sustainability Services in the United States. You will develop and deliver differentiated value propositions and proposals, applying solution development, pricing strategy, and sustainability performance insights to engage WM Sales and target customers.

The role involves researching markets, identifying opportunities, building business plans, and driving prospecting and closing in a team-selling environment while traveling 25-50% to support client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED with four years of relevant work experience.
• 5 years of marketing and/or business development experience in the services industry.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages prospects by developing sound marketing plans and maintaining key information.
• Maintains sales pipeline to achieve new sales goals.
• Matches services with customer needs by pricing and strategy knowledge; engages other WM opportunities.
• Identifies partner suppliers and maintains a database of potential projects.
• Interfaces with WM segments to resolve customer issues.
• Performs feasibility studies on infrastructure, pricing, permitting and conditions.
• Develops and executes market analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Establishes industry contacts to identify potential projects.
• Prepares proposals and negotiates contracts with third parties.
• Keeps current on market trends, sustainability topics, and internal sales strategies.
• Delivers customized sales presentations and supports marketing efforts.
• Solicits grants from partners and oversees grant process.
• Promotes outreach at trade shows and conferences.
