Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to support North America’s sustainability strategy through data management, reporting, and compliance. You will administer key platforms, drive data quality, and lead life cycle assessments while engaging stakeholders to advance Amcor’s environmental commitments.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data accuracy, and proactive process improvement in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging context.
• Demonstrated experience with sustainability data platforms and GHG reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, Scope 1/2/3).
• Strong analytical and data management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data visualization or BI tools a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain sustainability data platform (Altruistiq): user management & training.
• Conduct quarterly data validation and reporting to drive on-time submissions.
• Support Scope 3 GHG reporting and manage sustainability targets.
• Build dashboards for QSR, PCR, recyclability, and transportation; automate data pulls.
• Integrate legacy Berry and Amcor site data into global reporting.
• Collect and validate packaging, component, SKU, and product-line data.
