Job summary

Amcor Limited, a global packaging leader in Detroit, seeks a Sustainability Analyst to manage data platforms, drive GHG reporting, and conduct Life Cycle Assessments. You will coordinate cross-functional data quality, support regulatory obligations, and contribute to sustainability disclosures.

You will work with Altruistiq and Sedex, leverage BI tools, and help translate product specifications into compliant environmental data for customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in sustainability or environmental management, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
• Experience with sustainability data platforms and GHG reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, Scope 1/2/3).
• Strong analytical and data management skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data visualization or BI tools a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain sustainability data platforms and dashboards.
• Conduct data validation cycles and prepare site methodology templates.
• Support Scope 3 GHG reporting and regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead data integration from legacy sites into unified global reporting.
• Perform Life Cycle Assessments and support carbon reduction roadmaps.
• Support EPR obligations and translate product specs into regulatory data.
• Coordinate audits and assist with annual sustainability reporting.
