Job summary

Pacific Rim is seeking an Environmental Manager to develop and oversee environmental strategies and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance while minimizing the organization’s environmental footprint.

You will lead audits, train staff, collaborate with departments, manage projects and budgets, and stay current with evolving regulations and industry trends. This on-site role located in Tamuning, Guam offers the opportunity to drive sustainable practices across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, or related field.
• Proven experience in environmental management, including knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Certification in environmental management (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to ensure corporate sustainable development.
• Coordinate environmental inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide environmental training to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes.
• Manage environmental projects, including planning, budgeting, and overseeing implementation.
• Stay up to date with environmental regulations and industry trends.
• Represent the organization in environmental matters with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
