Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, environmental studies, sustainability, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in external audit, sustainability assurance, internal audit, ESG reporting, consulting, or a related professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sustainability assurance engagements, including planning, execution, review, reporting, and client communication.
• Oversee procedures related to ESG metrics, greenhouse gas emissions, sustainability disclosures, reporting processes, and related controls.
• Coordinate with clients, partners, and engagement teams to evaluate ESG data collection, documentation, governance, and reporting readiness.
• Apply sustainability reporting frameworks such as GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP, and applicable standards.
• Support clients in improving ESG reporting processes, data quality, internal controls, and assurance readiness.
• Prepare and review client deliverables, reports, and engagement documentation.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Coach and develop team members and foster a collaborative high-performing environment.
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
