MOMIJI MONMOUTH INC is seeking a Server (Food Server, Waiter/Waitress) to provide friendly, attentive service in our Momiji restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals while following OLCC guidelines.

A strong emphasis on teamwork and menu knowledge ensures guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience. The role requires efficient communication with the kitchen, accurate order handling, and proactive upselling to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service and set the tone for customers and staff.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Good understanding of the menu and able to make recommendations.
• Must follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats customers.
• Answers questions about the menu and upsells.
• Takes orders and communicates to the kitchen.
• Communicates allergies or special instructions to kitchen staff.
• Operates the POS and processes payments.
• Maintains high quality and timely service.
• Addresses customer issues and escalates when needed.
• Keeps server station clean and handles side prep.
