Wegmans is seeking a sushi prep team member to help create fresh, high-quality rolls and assist with made-to-order requests in a bustling store kitchen. You will learn traditional techniques alongside experienced sushi chefs, focusing on speed, consistency, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, store environment.

Formación

• Food preparation experience.
• Experience working as a Prep Cook / apprentice cook.
• Culinary Arts education as listed: Associate - Culinary Arts.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice.
• Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation.
• Uphold excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction.
