Wegmans in Collegeville, PA is seeking a sushi prep team member to help prepare fresh sushi and assist customers with made-to-order requests. You will work with seasoned sushi chefs in a fast-paced store kitchen, learning traditional techniques and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling rolls while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Formación

• Experience with food safety and sanitation is preferred.
• Basic knife skills and sushi prep knowledge beneficial.
• Excellent customer service in a retail environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice.
• Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation.
• Uphold excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction.
