Tao Group Hospitality is seeking an experienced sushi cook to ensure quality and consistency across all fish and prepared items. You will station-prepare hot and cold foods, follow orders from the POS system, and maintain cleanliness per health standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, sanitation, and accurate execution under fast-paced conditions. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of sushi prep or Tao Group experience, with preference for high-volume restaurant settings.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to move quickly.
• Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all restaurant foods, hot and cold, to TAO Standards.
• Follow POS orders and expeditor directions precisely.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station.
• Communicate product needs to chefs and support staff.
• Set up station and perform opening/closing duties per management.
• Work as part of a team and assist colleagues as needed.
