JOEY Restaurants in the United States is seeking a Sushi Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients and menu items across a fast-paced service, follow JOEY recipes, and coordinate with other stations to deliver quality, iconic experiences.

This role pays $22.00–$30.00 per hour and is eligible for tips. Candidates should have 1–3+ years of culinary experience, hold a Food Handler permit, and be passionate about hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years culinary experience; high potential with less accepted.
• Valid local/state Food Handler permits.
• Passion for hospitality and world-class service.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients to meet prep lists and recipes.
• Cook menu items using various methods per JOEY recipes.
• Maintain clean, sanitary prep and cooking areas.
• Stock, organize, and clean stations and storage areas.
• Complete side work and closing duties; set up the line.
• Follow safety protocols and report equipment issues.
