The Sushi Cook position at sbe's Katsuya in Los Angeles is responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes per restaurant recipes and specifications. You must work efficiently, maintain hygiene, follow directions, stay organized, be punctual and attentive.

Responsibilities include cutting, filleting fish, inspecting ingredient quality, preparing sushi according to guidelines on quality and food safety, and communicating with wait staff to accommodate special requests and allergies.

Competenze

• Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in high-end, service-focused environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Mansioni

• Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.
• Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
• Maintaining a clean work environment to prevent food contamination.
• Regularly taking inventory of food supplies and other products.
