Job summary

Happy Tuna is redefining fast casual sushi by serving fresh, high-quality sushi with premium ingredients. As a Team Member, you will help bring chef-quality sushi to guests while growing your career in a fun, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include preparing sushi and related items, following safety guidelines, maintaining quality, and communicating customer needs in a fast-paced team setting. We offer growth opportunities and hands-on training as part of a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience.
• Ability to work with speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
• Solid organization, clear verbal communication, and ability to follow directions.
• Team-oriented with basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, sushi rice, vegetables, and other menu items to Happy Tuna standards while keeping your station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Follow HACCP and all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling, temperatures, storage, and product rotation.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness, maintain accurate portions and presentation, and ensure every order meets quality standards before it is served.
• Execute orders accurately and efficiently, and communicate special requests and allergies.
• Work in a positive, energetic environment where teammates support each other and leaders invest in your development.
