  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure that food is handled, stored, and prepared in a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the sushi station, including sanitizing cutting boards, knives, and other tools regularly.
  • Monitor ingredient levels, especially perishable items such as seafood, and communicate any restocking needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Ensure that all ingredients are stored properly to preserve freshness and quality.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders.

Position Overview:

The Sushi Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and other Japanese cuisine in accordance with restaurant standards. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in sushi preparation techniques, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering beautifully presented and flavorful dishes. The Sushi Cook must have a deep knowledge of fish, knife skills, and an understanding of traditional sushi-making practices.

Key Responsibilities:
