Hy-Vee's Hy-Chi department in Spring Lake Park, MN is hiring a Sushi Clerk. You will greet customers, take orders, ensure freshness, prepare and replenish sushi items, and maintain sanitation standards.

This full-time, hourly role offers starting pay in the mid-teens and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and Food Safety Certification; six months of similar experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic math for transactions.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail or food-service environment is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and take orders at the counter or over the phone.
• Assist customers with finding products, stocking, and maintaining clean shelves.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish sushi products while ensuring freshness and proper labeling.
• Monitor product freshness and ensure proper sanitation in the department.
• Follow safety and health guidelines, including proper handling of raw fish and use of knives where applicable.
• Support other store areas as needed and assist in special projects.
• Collaborate with store leadership and Hy-Chi managers to provide a positive customer experience.
