Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Sushi Clerk for the Hy-Chi department. You will handle customer orders, assist shoppers, and help maintain fresh product while adhering to food safety standards.

The role involves fast-paced work, teamwork, and delivering a positive customer experience daily at Hy-Vee locations in MA. High school diploma and food safety certification are required, with prior food-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Six months or more of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and deliver outstanding service.
• Take orders at counter and over the phone; assist in locating products.
• Review daily orders; monitor product freshness and supply levels.
• Prepare, finish and replenish product; pull items from cooler/freezer.
• Follow sanitation procedures; keep work area clean and organized.
• Check in product; label and date items; remove trash promptly.
• Anticipate daily product needs; develop a production list.
• Order product and supplies as necessary.
• Collaborate with teammates for a positive customer experience.
• Adhere to Hy-Vee dress code and policies.
