Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Sushi Clerk for the Hy-Chi department. You will help fill orders, prepare fresh product, and keep the department running smoothly every day.

Focus on food safety, freshness, and excellent customer service to ensure a positive in-store experience for every customer. This fast-paced role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Food Safety Certification, and at least six months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them.
• Take orders at the counter and over the phone, locating items as needed.
• Monitor product freshness, appearance and stock levels throughout shifts.
• Prepare, finish and replenish products in the Hy-Chi department.
• Maintain sanitation and a clean, organized work area at all times.
• Label, date, and store product properly and manage waste promptly.
• Follow production lists and assist in ordering products as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates for a positive customer experience.
• Adhere to Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards and policies.
