Hai Hospitality is hiring Sushi Chefs for Uchiba Miami - Brickell. Located at 900 S Miami Ave in Brickell, orientation ends October with opening planned for mid-November 2026. Sushi Chefs earn $25-$35 per hour plus benefits and growth opportunities.

You will learn sushi techniques under our Chef teams and engage guests at the sushi bar to create memorable experiences. We offer medical, dental, vision, and accident insurance options, plus an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401k with employer

Qualifications

• Effective communication with guests and other employees.
• Lift and carry trays and goods up to 50 lbs; restock duties.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine.

Hai Hospitality is accepting applications for Sushi Chefs for our Uchibā Miami - Brickell location!

Located in Brickell (900 S Miami Ave), orientation is slated to begin end of October with a planned opening in mid-November 2026!

Our Sushi Chefs earn an average of $25 - $35/ hr+ benefits + growth opportunities!

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
• Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as ovens, grills, and knives
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace, including proper storage of supplies and cleaning of surfaces
• Move quickly and efficiently to respond to customer needs
