Aja 30A is currently searching for friendly, reliable, highly motivated individuals to join our culinary team at the upscale Asian fusion restaurant located in Inlet Beach at the intersection of US 98 and 30A.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience suggested
• Ability to present pictures of your craft
• Compensation: $20+ per hour, based on skill set and experience
• Part‑time and full‑time positions available; weekend and holiday availability required. Minimum three shifts per week.

Essential Job Functions

• Report to work on time in correct attire and maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness during all shifts.
• Complete all assigned opening, side work, and closing duties in a timely manner.
• Set up and restock stations before, during, and after service.
• Prepare food such as filleting fish, cutting vegetables for rolls, and presentation.
• Create and dress rolls and sashimi‑style dishes along with appetizers prepared at the sushi bar.
• Participate in the team‑oriented atmosphere as trained.
• Demonstrate kitchen savvy, knowing weights, measurements, and volumes.
• Follow all steps and techniques to ensure consistency of product and recipes.
• Maintain a sanitary, food‑safe workstation at all times.
• Work in front of guests while preparing dishes with a bright and inviting demeanor.
• Immediately recognize and respond to any guest needs and/or requests.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Know all chemicals used in the building.
