Job summary

Bamboo Sushi is opening a new Kirkland, Washington location in 2026 and seeks a Sushi Chef to join the opening team. You will work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure thoughtful, timely preparation of sushi bar items, progressing through Roll Case, Front Case, and Wheel stations with a focus on quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen and guest-facing environments.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lead sushi production stations and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi bar items with high quality and timely execution.
• Manage prep-to-plate workflow across sushi stations (Roll Case, Front Case, Wheel).
• Collaborate with BOH and FOH teams to support opening Kirkland location and ensure guest satisfaction.
