Job summary

Hai Hospitality seeks a Sushi Chef for Uchiko Plano to join our fast-paced culinary team, delivering authentic Japanese cuisine and guiding guests through an outstanding dining experience.

You’ll refine sushi techniques under our chef teams, collaborate across Uchi/Uchiko/Uchiba concepts, and contribute to daily specials. Compensation is $25-$30 per hour with comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) plan, dining discounts, and clear career growth through internal promotion.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine.
• Learn and perfect your sushi techniques under the guidance of our skilled Chef teams.
• Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product
• Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience for yourself and the guest
• Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge and skills grows
• Collaborate with our teams to create dishes that will be showcased on our specials page and core menu!
