Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Surveyor to assist field teams by staking out sites and developing layouts. You will work closely with foremen to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s strong reputation for quality in concrete and earthwork projects.

The role requires at least 1 year in construction, experience reading elevations and using Trimble GPS systems. Travel to surrounding job sites is possible, with per diem as applicable.

Qualificações

• 1 year minimum experience in the construction industry
• Experience with elevations
• Knowledge of Trimble GPS systems

Responsabilidades

• Assist Foreman with plan layout and site stakeout
• Transfer reference points from design drawings to the site
• Read blueprints and layout sidewalks, slabs, and walls
• Layout for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain, parking lots and curbs
• Set up GPS units using control points and blueprints
• Work independently with foreman or project manager to solve problems in the field
• Support field teams through physical labor and equipment operation
