Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Oklahoma City is seeking a Survey Technician Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist field staff on topographic/boundary surveys and learn to operate robotic total stations, GPS, drones, and LiDAR scanning.

You will gain hands-on experience collecting survey data, searching boundary evidence, and performing basic computations while working outdoors in varied terrain with mentorship from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an Associates or Bachelors in Survey program.
• Prior internship and/or survey experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced survey field staff performing work on topographic and boundary surveys, route surveys, stream surveys, and construction stakeouts.
• Gain exposure to robotics total stations, GPS, drones, and LiDAR scanning.
• Learn to collect survey data and search for boundary evidence outdoors.
• Perform tasks such as setting stakes and monuments, clearing brush, and hiking.
• Utilize surveying software to gather data and perform basic computations.
