Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Survey Office Technician to join our St. Charles team.

This role supports the preparation of topographic/surface surveys, boundary and ALTA/Cadastral work, and the processing of spatial data from drone flights, scanning, lidar, and other sources with on‑the‑job training. You'll collaborate with a technical staff, contribute to a variety of projects, and grow your surveying expertise while benefiting from career development opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related survey experience, field/office.
• Proficient with AutoDesk Civil3D and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with topo surfaces, contouring, and boundary data.
• Ability to draft property boundaries and easements from deeds.
• Experience with data preparation for Project Managers in survey and civil.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of topographic/surface surveys.
• Process spatial data from drone flights, scanning and lidar.
• Prepare detailed base-files for Project Manager use.
• Review legal descriptions and boundary data.
• Support field and office tasks as needed.
