Job summary

BL Companies in Uniontown, OH is seeking a Survey Technician to join our land surveying team. You will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and contribute to meaningful projects.

The role offers growth in a collaborative environment, training on AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Leica Infinity, and exposure to field-to-office workflows. Opportunities for hybrid work are available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; coursework or field experience may be considered.
• 0–4 years of land surveying experience desired.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of survey maps and plans from field-collected data
• Support field crews by processing field notes and sketches
• Perform basic data entry and editing using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
• Help interpret deed descriptions and plot property boundaries under supervision
• Learn to create Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) and generate contours
• Follow company CAD standards and assist with maintaining drawing consistency
• Work collaboratively with survey and engineering staff in a team environment
