Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Surveyor to support our Survey team in Cincinnati, OH. You will assist with topographic mapping, construction staking, and boundary surveys using conventional equipment, robotic total stations, and GPS.

Responsibilities include operating survey equipment, interpreting plans for staking, recording measurements, and preparing surveys for AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role reports to a Senior Professional Land Surveyor and requires 3+ years of experience in surveying.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of surveying experience required.
• Ability to work independently on project sites and follow safety guidelines.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with field data collection and boundary surveys.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust modern survey equipment.
• Read construction plans to perform staking and layout.
• Record survey measurements and data with notes and sketches.
• Conduct property research and collect field data for boundary surveys.
• Process data and create boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and as-built surveys for AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Report to a Senior Professional Land Surveyor.

Education

Associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering

Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Engineering (preferred)
