Job summary

Sandis is seeking a Survey Technician in Campbell, CA to support ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys, along with drafting exhibits and stakeout calculations. The role includes coordinating with consultants and city officials to meet deadlines and project scopes.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of office survey experience and be pursuing LSIT or FAA pilot license, with familiarity in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Pix4D, and Leica scanning software preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of office survey experience.
• Pursuing LSIT and/or FAA Pilot License.
• Knowledgeable of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Pix4D and Leica-based scanning software preferred.
• Experience with survey equipment, such as GPS, Robotic, and Total Station.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ALTA Surveys and other boundary surveys, topographic surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
• Field crew support with the preparation of stakeout calculations
• Coordinate and follow up with consultants and the city about projects.
• Align daily work with differing project scopes and critical deadlines.
• Drafting aerial surveys from our UAV (Drone).
• Problem solving and ability to learn new software programs as technology advances.
