Job summary

Sandis in Campbell, CA is seeking a Design Engineer with civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD experience to join our land development team. You will contribute to a diverse array of site designs and collaborate with Architects, Landscape Architects, and MEP Engineers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with rough/finish grading, and knowledge of water, sanitary, and storm drainage systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in civil design.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with rough and finish grading plans.
• Knowledge of sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water distribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing improvement plans including rough/finish grading, stormwater management, and utility plans.
• Design utility systems including water, sanitary, and storm drain.
• Assist with fire flow tests.
• Interact with Architects, Landscape Architects, and MEP Engineers.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including RFIs and site observations.
• Conduct engineering assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with private, public, and governmental agencies.

Sandis is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our team in Campbell, CA. Our ideal candidate has experience with civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including stormwater drainage programs and AutoCAD. Cool Stuff you get to do:
