Job summary

Percheron LLC seeks an experienced Survey Technical Supervisor to oversee QA/QC of all survey deliverables. This role acts as technical authority, developing standards, procedures, and workflows across multiple outputs to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading QA/QC reviews, mentoring staff, and collaborating with project teams while remaining 50% billable on active projects. Office-based in Texas with emphasis on field-to-office integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in field surveying or survey drafting.
• Extensive experience performing technical reviews and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Strong knowledge across surveying, pipeline, mapping, and field operations.
• Ability to develop and implement technical standards, procedures, and QA/QC protocols.
• Proven ability to train and mentor technical staff.
• Hands-on field experience with various survey projects.
• Autonomy and collaboration as a team player.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive QA/QC and SOP reviews of data processing and deliverable production.
• Ensure deliverables meet internal standards, client specs, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify issues and drive corrections and preventative actions.
• Serve as final technical checkpoint prior to client submission.
• Develop, document, and maintain technical standards and QA/QC checklists.
• Mentor and train team members on standards and quality expectations.
• Bridge field practices with office production.
• Remain 50% billable on active projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and leadership to align on quality.
