LJA Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Survey Manager in Jacksonville, FL.

You will oversee the Florida Survey department, supervise project managers and survey staff, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating with multiple teams to deliver successful surveying projects. The ideal candidate has extensive survey industry experience, a professional licensed surveyor credential, and proven PM leadership.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience in the industry.
• 5 years of project management experience.
• Ability to build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the Florida Survey department and related staff.
• Oversee budget, client relations and business development.
• Establish annual business plan with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to plan timeframes, budgets and staffing.
• Assist with developing project proposals and respond to inquiries.
• Serve as liaison between client and project team; coordinate with survey staff.
