Job summary

Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Pensacola, FL to lead survey projects, interface with clients, scope and schedule work, and ensure QA/QC before client submission.

The role requires managing conventional, GPS, and Laser Scanning surveys, bidding, and coordinating field teams with CAD staff; travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Land Surveyor (or ability to obtain PLS within one year) preferred
• Must be Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or Certified Survey Technician IV
• 2-year degree in Surveying, Engineering or 4-year degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of managing/surveying infrastructure projects
• Perform Boundary Surveys & ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys & As-built plans
• Familiarity and experience in using MicroStation for FDOT projects

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all survey activities (conventional, GPS, and Laser Scanning).
• Prepare bids and estimates aligned with profit and growth objectives.
• Create scope of work via client negotiation and project knowledge.
• Ensure QA/QC before submission to client.
• Submit all RFPs on time and align bids with objectives.
• Organize post-project reviews to identify improvements.
