Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey Project Manager in Charleston, SC to oversee surveying projects for the corporate office.

You will supervise field crews and office staff, manage contracts, and coordinate project delivery from planning through completion. The ideal candidate has a PLS licensure, 5+ years in surveying management for residential/commercial development, and hands-on experience with Trimble, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and GPS technologies.

Qualifications

Possess PLS licensure in NC and/or SC (preferred).
5+ years of progressive surveying management experience in residential/commercial development.
Experience with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS; field experience with Trimble Survey equipment.
Excel, Access, Google Earth; IT skills a plus.
Thorough working knowledge of GPS.
Pass drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record per MVR policy.

Responsibilities

Responsible charge of all aspects of a surveying and geomatics group (field and office) with field crews and staff.
Initiate and maintain contact with key personnel and officials of organizations and companies.
Plan, organize and supervise survey crews, technicians and other staff members.
Administer contracts and manage projects, interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments.
Schedule and assign work to meet completion date.
