Job summary

gpac represents an established surveying, planning and civil engineering firm in Troy, MI, seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead field and office survey staff.

You will manage projects from design survey through construction layout across municipal, MDOT, private land development, contractor staking, industrial and oil & gas work. Competitive salary with signing bonus and relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Survey Project Manager.
• Michigan PS license preferred, not required.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency a plus.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage survey projects from design survey through construction layout across municipal, MDOT, private land development, contractor staking, industrial and oil & gas work.
• Develop project criteria, schedules and budgets; monitor budgets and deliverables.
• Lead a team of surveyors, crew chiefs and technicians; mentor staff.
• Review deliverables, perform calculations and legal/boundary research.
• Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new clients.
• Report to the Survey Manager.
