Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of projects. Additionally, Project Managers oversee quality and coordination among all internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contract scope and execute deliverables within the prescribed schedule.
• Monitor time charges and project adjustments to keep projects within budget.
• Recognize scope changes and confer with the Group Manager and/or Director to negotiate appropriate adjustments.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Make final decisions on all survey and staking technical matters.
• Review all deliverables for quality control and adherence to company standards before external release.
• Coordinate project submittals with local municipalities.
• Consult with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve issues.
• Maintain close contact with clients throughout the project, ensuring satisfaction through regular updates.
• Foster long-term relationships with clients.
• Cross-sell services to other departments or clients.
• Continuously update industry knowledge.
• Provide feedback on staff performance and training needs to the Group Manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
• Communicate respectfully with clients and project neighbors to uphold a positive company image.
• Follow guidelines and standards set by the Geomatics department.
• Assess potential hazards and unsafe conditions to promote safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics.
• 2-5 years of office/field experience in Land Surveying.
• Motivated to develop and grow the land surveying sector within the region.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary engineering firm with diverse project standards.
• Leadership skills to guide a team of surveying professionals.
• Ability to independently manage and grow key client relationships.
• Technical expertise to lead and advise surveying projects from start to finish.
